Narrated by Emma Willis, this Children in Need special is a powerful film which proves how brilliantly resilient children and young people can be in the face of a global crisis.

The impact of the pandemic on children has been profound, with access to education, healthcare and sometimes even basic nutrition being restricted. Here, we meet a group of kids with added emotional and physical needs, including three siblings with ADHD, a 12-year-old boy at risk of losing his eyesight and a little girl who recently lost her sister to cancer.

As stories of resilience in the face of an anxiety-inducing lockdown emerge, we also hear of the support that comes from Children in Need-funded projects, many of which will be hoping for a financial boost from this year’s annual TV event.
