Filmed entirely on Friday 3rd April 2020, at the end of a second week of lockdown, this extraordinary film brings together footage shot by over 3000 members of the public across the UK, capturing life in that 24 hour period of the Coronavirus crisis. Using these videos submitted by the public as well as content shot by socially-distant filmmakers, this unique film sets out to capture a snapshot of this moment in history.

From shelf-stackers to taxi-drivers, families doing PE in living rooms and children being home-schooled, tp key workers doing the vital jobs of caring for our nation, the documentary aims to show the impact of Covidon everyday life, finding hope where it can. A mixture of the funny, the inspirational, the poignant and the heartbreaking; A Day in the Life of Coronavirus Britain examines just how a nation has pulled together in this time of unprecedented crisis.
